What started as "four guys deleting beers and blasting cigs in a garage” evolved into what is now The Jump Cuts. Hailing from southern Florida, the four-piece—Max Montana Idas, Bronto Montano, Clayton Landry, and Cory Heller—plays reminiscent of young Queens of the Stone Age or Arctic Monkeys. Their 2025 debut, What A Fun Way To Kill Some Time, was sort of a polished-rock debut. Recorded with John Paul Pitts (Surfer Blood) at Shadetree Studio, mixed by Mark Watter (Alex G, Drug Church), and mastered by Oliver Ackermann (A Place to Bury Strangers), the eight-song record delivered a unique brand of “polished raw” garage rock that started pushing them onto the radar. The band is now gearing up for their follow up release - ran back with the same team behind the first record. The 3 singles released so far shows the band is really starting to find their unique voice through chaotic guitars, fuzzed out bass, and overall faster than ever. Catch them this fall across North America and Europe.
